Brock Lesnar showed his fans what he was really made of upon winning his match with Shane Carwin at UFC 116. He has successfully defended his heavyweight title on Saturday night.

Lesnar, considered as UFC’s biggest pay-per-view star, has won his first fight in a year. It was a bit unexpected, since he seemed the weaker in the opening minutes compared to the previously undefeated interim champion, Shane Carwin.

But in the second round, Lesnar took down Carwin and got him in an arm triangle choke. “I knew he was getting tired. Each shot was less dramatic than the other . . . I stand before you a humble champion, and I’m still the toughest (guy) around,” Lesnar said.

Lesnar previously canceled two bouts with Carwin because he developed an intestinal illness–a disease which almost killed him.

Hello. How about that ride in? I guess that’s why they call it sin city. Ha Ha. Anyway, I was given an assignment by BMOC to find out more about the blog’s audience. Basically the EOTM asked me to come up with a way that would allow him to study the blog’s readers and learn more about them. I told BMOC I’m not exactly sure how to go about this and he said, “Do it before I set you on fire.” I quickly came up with an idea.

There have been many times when my friends and I have played the game “For a million dollars, would you [insert weird, disgusting, or painful act here]?” It’s probably the second best way to learn about who your friends really are. The best way is to have another one of your friends call your original friend and tell them that you died. Their reaction to your abrupt death should let you know how they feel about you. If they say, “Ah that sucks, man. Well I gotta go to work now, let me know what you’re up to this weekend,” well you may want to reconsider that friend. However, if they go all Chaz aka Will Ferrell in Wedding Crashers and start screaming, “Dammit Tuley!!! DAMMIT!!

The Miami Herald caught up with The Miz. During their conversation, the Miz talked about some of the trials and tribulations he went through first breaking into WWE. Here is what he said about his early WWE up comings.

“I went to Ohio Valley Wrestling [in Louisville] to learn more,” Miz said following his Tough Enough run. You go to different schools to learn different things.

“Finally I got brought up to be the Ryan Seacrest of WWE. They wanted me to host Friday Night Smackdown and host of the Diva Search. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted, but I knew if they gave me the microphone, I could get a character over and show people who I am.

“After six months of doing that, they said, ‘You’re going to start wrestling.’ I said, ‘Wow.’ I went undefeated for almost six months.

“After I started losing, I started losing a lot. Literally everyone thought I was going to be future endeavored [released]. Nobody liked me in the locker room. I got kicked out of the locker room. No one likes a person who comes from a reality background and comes to WWE and thinks they can do it.

John Cena and Undertaker

In an interview with Moviefone.com to promote his new movie “Legendary,” RAW superstar John Cena commented on a potential showdown with The Undertaker at WrestleMania next year.

Moviefone asked Cena in an interview, “What’s the next challenge for you: winning an Oscar or trying to end the Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak?” Cena said he wants to challenge the Undertaker at WrestleMania and be the man to end the infamous streak.

Cena was asked about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s success in Hollywood and whether we’d ever see him back in WWE.

“I think Dwayne has done such an awesome job being a successful actor,” Cena said. “The only problem is he left us; he’s no longer doing activity with WWE. I think the way WWE Studios is going now – they’re going away from action, doing more drama, possibly more comedy – it will open a lot of people’s eyes. Because a lot of people see big guy, big frame: action superstar. We’ve proven, especially with ‘Legendary,’ that that is not always the case.”
