They recapped Orton punting Harris. Cole was in full on heel mode, talking about how awful this was, and how Orton was a coward. Randy said things were just getting started for Punk and Nexus. Out came Punk, who was very hated. He said he agreed with Orton for once. Or “Randall” as he called him. He said things weren’t over between them. He said the truth would set Orton free, and revealed why it was that Punk screwed Orton at the Royal Rumble.

They played the angle from Unforgiven 2008, where Orton (along with Legacy) attacked Punk (who was World Champ at the time) and laid him out with the punt. Punk later vacated the title, as the punt meant he was unable to defend it in a match. MY GOD. CONTINUITY IN MY WWE!? This made sense, and was a very nice touch for the program. Punk said he never forgot. He said he was right, and Orton was wrong. “Indefensible” he said. That’s kinda true, but the people will never boo Orton for punting people. Punk said he wasn’t waiting til Elimination Chamber.

Alberto De Rio

Can Alberto Del Rio become the first Mexican-born heavyweight champ in WWE history?

The six-foot-five, 260-pound grappler certainly has the pedigree: he is the son of respected Mexican luchador Dos Caras and the nephew of legendary masked wrestler Mil Máscaras. Before making the leap to WWE, Del Rio (real name: Alberto Rodriguez) wrestled as Dos Caras, Jr. for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, the 78-year-old wrestling organization that has featured stars like El Santo, Blue Demon and Místico.

Del Rio, who has also had mixed success in MMA, made an impressive debut on WWE Smackdown versus Rey Mysterio last summer. Unlike Mysterio, however, Del Rio ditched his signature mask, a move that angered some lucha libre purists. Dos Caras, Jr. gave way to Alberto Del Rio, a cocky Mexican aristorcrat who enters the ring after an intro from his personal Spanish-speaking announcer. Despite the controversy, Del Rio has adapted quickly to his new home, combining the acrobatic maneuvers that he developed in Mexico with the charisma that eludes many Mexican luchadores who try their hand at American wrestling.

Mysterio is known for his aerial wrestling techniques, which kick-started the “cruiserweight” revolution in the United States of America in the late ’90′s. He has won the WCW/WWE Cruiserweight championship eight times – more than anyone else in history. He’s touted as the greatest “underdog” champion of all time, given his height and weight compared to his opponents.
